Robert Downey Jr. is so wrong but so very right.
"just because it's theme music, don't make it not true"
I'm addicted to comedy movies but the good ones are so few and far between. I'm looking to top up my mail-thingy movie rental list, care to share your favourite comedies?
Also acceptable genres: mob, horror, sci-fi
I plead parenthood for not keeping up with the latest films. Now that's an incredibly weak excuse, a kitten could kick it's butt in two seconds flat.

oh my god... i love a great comedy. even better, a great romantic comedy. but most of them suck so much. recently i saw "Definitely Maybe" and it was very cute and funny. seriously. and i'm still laughing my arse off about "Juno."
Shaun of the Dead
It was described as a zom-rom-com (zombie romantic comedy). One of my favorites ever.
Hmmm, what to recommend? Juno, Stranger than Fiction, Strictly Ballroom, Elf, Best in Show... start with those, and then tell me what you did and didn't like and I can make more recommendations. (I watch WAY too many movies...on DVD, of course).
Oh, and btw, could I love Rober Downey Jr any mor???
Those are the new spellings of "Robert" and "more"...
I wasn't able to view the clip, but if it's a RDJr flick that you crave, check out Two Girls and a Guy, if you haven't already seen it.
I showed that trailer to my wife last week and said, "this has the chance to be one of the funniest movies ever or one of the worst." It'll probably be the latter.
I stopped watching movies in 2004, so I'm no help.
"Truly Madly Deeply"
Funny, smart, romantic, supernatural (the "thinking person's Ghost"), acting.
My bestest. My fave.
I'm hopelessly stuck on the classics - I have to go with Austin Powers, Dumb and Dumber, and Major Payne. We own them, watch them often, and I end up crying every time from laughing so hard.
