sky high elmo club

We have been up and travelling since 5am.

G*dd*amn Elmo was last to be packed.

The only scene Bumper made today was when security at the airport forced Bumper to put the little red sh*t Elmo in a tray and send him through xray. Security folk are a cruel breed - or so I thought, until the woman who had wrangled the red devil with big eyes from my protesting daughter, ran back from the other side of the xray machine to say "ELMO WAS A-OKAY" and placed him safely back in his keeper's arms. The lady did have a heart after all.

obviously I have no heart
because this is how I packed Shitmo
heck - I tagged him - isn't that enough?

I can't stand Elmo. His voice drives me bonkers. He is a subpar muppet IMO. I was secretly hoping they would detain him.

In the less negative thinking side of my brain: Airplanes with free satellite TV that show Treehouse and TVO are the best thing ever:

Barely a peep until they turned it off.

Then after they turned the TV off, she listened to the lady make the announcements concerning our landing and Bumper gave this lady all of her attention. After the announcements were finished Bumper shouted out "OK! THANK YOU! BYE BYE!" which made the surrounding rows laugh.

We were both hoping someone would throw candy or money but apparently she wasn't cute enough. Try harder next time, would ya' kid?

Elmo is fine for security but Mr. Potato Head would never make it through. We love the satellite TV!

I agree people should shower you both with bills. Coins could hurt and of course you could trade some money for candy or liquor.

I'm jealous about the satellite TV, especially with Treehouse. That would be heaven for us!

Scooter actually got to go sit in the cockpit on a recent flight. And then the flight attendant gave him the job of letting her know when all the baggage had been loaded. He announced it very loudly. (But that's better than when he shouts during descent, "We're going down!")

I can't stand Elmo either.
almost as much as Lunette from Big Comfy Couch.

okay- could your little gal be any cuter?
love the toddler noir wardrobe.

If I could I'd put Elmo through a shredder but unfortunately my kid loves the miserable little monster.

Woohoo for good flights, and Treehouse, and adorable photos!

And couldn't you have stashed something up Elmo's wahoo so that he'd get confiscated? "Elmo loves weed! Elmo loves full cavity searches! Elmo loves lockup! Hehehehe!"

Not even airport security can stand firm in the face of the Bumper's cuteness. That's power, my friend.

I love that pic of B on the plane with the headphones, kind of a flash foward to when she's older with headphones on....anyway I would love some Elmo right now...we are stuck in Wiggles hell for the last month, it's 24 7 Wiggles here.

Thankfully our Elmo doesn't speak (we're old school). I'd have to say he has Barney and the nightmarish Doodlebops beaten...

Your girl is darling; your planmates are heartless & stingy.

That's "planemates." I'm new at typing.

Elmo. Bah. The only good thing Elmo ever did was provide us a bit of entertainment when we tossed the TMX version under a blanket. YOU KNOW what it looks like he's doing with his hand. Dirrrrrty Elmo. That kills at dinner parties. LMAO.

so I'm not the only person who is driven nuts by Elmo?

Hey, question for you... Did you change your feed? All your posts aren't giving me any previews of your posts, just the word null. Maybe I need to update my feed address?

Love it. Graham is becoming obsessed with Elmo too - it's becoming a problem for me!

is that toe tag on Elmo a bit of wishful thinking, perhaps?
